SEOTriage.ca is the latest in a series of SEO sites, wordpress theme and plugin development publishing businesses founded by Terry Van Horne AKA Webmaster T since the early 90’s. SeoTriage.ca is his second site devoted to advocacy for site owners hurt by bad SEO tactics by 3rd parties or site owners who followed some of the many “niche site” gurus and misguided SEO courses that resulted in many blossoming publishing entrepeneurs being devistated by the Helpful Content Update.
Terry’s first advocacy project was SEOPros.org where he helped consumers deal with poor results find a good SEO using the peer reviewed dierectory and free RFP distribution service.Terry plans to make at least part of this site totally free to help HCU affected sites that don’t have the resources for a paid community to at least get on the path to recovery.
My Vision for SEO Triage
I decided to build SEO Triage because I wanted to help publishers recover from the devestation created by Google’s Helpful Content Update (HCU). I startyed helping one person and realized I could just as easily help many more by creating a commiunity. It’s also my belief that a community sharing ideas and experience will figure what the issues are and adjustments neccessary to recover and thrive again!
The free area will receive a version without the instructional videos, mentoring, building a web business in the age of AI and monetization of a publishing business in 2024. The paid area will also include the very latest in SEO techniques with input from Terry’s friends and colleagues earned by giving back to the SEO community for decades with no epectations of benefitting from participation.
